Aaron Kelly is Eliminated From American Idol
I was just watching Ellen when she mentioned American Idol’s elimination last night and I thought “Oops!” I forgot to post the elimination results.
This week, we said goodbye to Aaron Kelly. I don’t think he was quite ready to be the American Idol, but I was surprised to see him eliminated last night. I thought he had another week or two in him. Our informal vote had Aaron leaving next week and Michael Lynche leaving this week.
Didn’t Harry Connick Jr. do a great job as a mentor? I wonder if he would consider taking Simon’s place? I wouldn’t mind looking at him every week. Although I guess he’s a little too nice to replace Simon.
Aaron was interviewed after his elimination. He’s pretty much finished with high school now and he wants to record an album after the American Idol tour. He says he loves to write his own music and wants to incorporate that into his new album.

I thought that Aaron Kelly was the wrong choice to leave this week. I picked Casey because out of all contestants I thought he did the worst. I would’ve liked to see Aaron Kelly one more week on the show. I thought Big Mike was the best performer and thankfully he did not leave.
