Hi Everybody,

I just can’t say it enough times.  I hate American Idol’s results show.  The group numbers are always so corny and no one ever looks comfortable during them.  At least the contestants look like they are having fun during the Ford commercials.

After some fill-in of Jasmine and Jorge’s farewell party, Ryan announces that Danny Gokey, Lil Rounds and Anoop Desai are safe tonight.    Next, Ryan has Michael Sarver and Allison Iraheta stand up.   He sort of leads us to believe that one of the two will be in the bottom three, but the two of them end up in the bottom.

After a performance by Brad Paisley, Ryan has Scott MacIntyre stand up.  He is safe.  Next to stand is Megan Joy.  She is also safe.  Matt Giraud stands and then sits back down.   Kris Allen is also safe.  This means that either Alexis Grace or Adam Lambert are in the bottom three.  It’s Alexis, thank goodness!  Next Ryan sends Allison back to sit down–she is safe.  Either Michael Sarver or Alexis Grace will leave American Idol tonight.  I very much doubt that judges would save either one of them.

Carrie Underwood performs with Randy Travis.  I’m not too crazy about that bow in her hair.  She is right up there with Kelly Clarkson in my book though.  How about you “Ryan Seacrest”?

Finally, we are at the end of this streeettttchhhedddd out hour.  America votes off Alexis Grace.  The judges are considering saving her so they have her re-perform her song.  Well, if it wasn’t good the first time, how is she going to be when she knows she’s about to be eliminated from the show?  Wouldn’t it be better that she have the chance to sing whatever she wants to?  Sorry to say she sings way worse than she sang yesterday and the judges don’t save her.  Farewell Alexis.
