Thanks Bloggergal…I hope you have a great weekend also. As for American Idol….I’m glad Jacob went home as each week, he seemed to go downhill. I would really like to see James win but I really like Lauren and Haley too. As you said, they will all have careers in the singing business no matter what the outcome.

For me, Haley is the one! Although, I do think it will be Scotty or James. Of the four, Scotty will have a very successful music career, and when he matures will be a star. I don’t see James or Lauren doing much, unless they can also write. I think Haley will find success doing musicals, unless she wins, then the exposure might help her. I could see her finding work as an actress.

Thank the Lord, my prayers were answered. Jacob is gone. Sorry anyone that liked him, but I just couldn’t take him any more. I am pleased with the 4 that remain. No matter who wins they are all winners. Happy Mother’s Day bloggergal.

I liked Jacob, his voice was amazing compared to the others’ and he was generally just truly talented. Lauren needs to go home, her voice sounds exactly like any other pop star. Shes pretty much the definition of the perfect American Idol, however I think that the show should lean more towards the person with the most diverse voice. Hayley is ok. Her voice is strong, but I just don’t like her style. James is definitely one of the most liked out of the four. I personally don’t like his voice, I think it’s too forced, but I do respect that he’s gotten this far despite having tourettes- that is pretty cool I guess. For now, I’m hoping Scotty will win. All of his preformances kind of sound the same but he has more talent over the rest.

James sang with a lot of heart in this last song. I do not have a bad thing to say he will have a good career ahead of him. Jacob is a very talented singer who can hit many notes others can not. I am not a fan of his type of singing, his screaming and high pitched notes are not what I like but he did do very well throughout the competition. Lauren sounded great and sang a song which really means a lot to her which I believe helped her out. The tempo of the song was slow for me but that’s how the song was just not my favorite choice. Scotty is my choice for the next american idol. He did great in his second song. I have no criticism for him because he is singing the songs he should be singing. Haley despite not being one of my favorites did ding well. My only flaw with her is her inconsistency with her song choices I enjoy some and dislike others. My predicition is Haley will go next followed by James. Scotty and Lauren are in the finals and it’s anyones guess who wins it from there.

James Durbin is good in the way that he can stretch out his notes but the only thing that i dislike about him is the way that he starts his songs out. Jacob Lusk in my opinion is all out bad, being that he cannot sing at all, the only good thing about him is that he can dress well. Lauren can sing very well, from the first time that i heard her sing i knew that she would make it to the finals, i cant think of anything bad about her. Scotty is my favorite singer, he can sing anything country in my opinion and nail it, the bad thing is, he has to start of his songs better. Haley is one of a kind, her voice to me is very exquisite, the thing that i don’t like about the way she sings is the way she ends her songs.

1. James- I realy like James’s voice. He is very talented and i predict he will be in the top 2 along with Lauren. All i have to say is he should do more upbeat sons he typicaly does better on those in my point of view.
2. Jacob- I dont realy like him that much his voice is ok just needs to find what kind of music he is into because pop is not it maybe more gospel or something but im not crazy about him.
3. Lauren- Lauren is my favorite and it will be hard to choose between her and James in the finals if they both make make it. Lauren has an excelent voice and is so full of emotion. I for one hope she wins and gets her carrer up and working because she will stay around and always shock us.
4. Scotty- I like Scotty as well he is very tlented and i wish to be hones him Lauren and James could all win. I think he should deffinitly stick with country because its his best genre that fits his voice.
5. Haley- I am not foned of Haley. She is my least favorite. I like her voice but it just doesnt fit some of the songs she sings.

i believe that haley is a real threat to win this thing. I believe that since she has gotten progressively better that she is gaining support from the viewers, but will it be enough to oust always strong competitors like scotty and james. I think that james is overrated. While he is very talented and gives his all on every single performance, i just feel like he gets special treatment from everyone. Scotty needs to open himself up and unlock his true potential. Lauren is the weakest link in my eyes. I believe she is a poor man’s carrie underwood. There have been numerous singers like her and im just not a fan of the same old singer.

Well you’re very right, bloggergal, when you say that the final four are all very different. James has the big rock voice while Scotty has the classic country voice. The past performance, I was a little disspointed in James’s performance. He strayed away from his comfort zone and I’m not sure it fit him well. I still feel that Haley is inferior to the rest of the competition and that she will be packing her bags up shortly. Scotty will then go home due to his one dimensional voice.

1. James – I have always appreciated James for being very versatile, however I wasn’t a fan of his song selection this week.

2. Lauren – She always brings it on stage and this week was no exception, she will be very tough to beat. Her only downside is that she is very one dimensional.

3. Scotty – If you are into country type music then Scotty is hands down your favorite singer on the show. He is excellent at singing country music, however, this type of music is all he sings.

4. Jacob – This guy has a big heart and you can tell that he leaves it all on the stage, he just isn’t my favorite singer in the world.

5. Haley – I really find myself bored when she sings, I feel that Stefano deserves to be here more than her. She did do pretty good this week which makes me wonder if she will be spared.

Well I disagree with alot of the people, Scotty has alot of talent and his uses his own style there was only four people that did that this season and it’s the final four, just think about that. Also, they all had a great night including Jacob, but He just didn’t what it takes to be the next American Idol. As for Lauren, Haley, and James they all did really great but Scotty stole the show in my eyes and ears. But for the Finale it’s as the following:

Everyone knew that Jacob was going to go home soon. He continued to have a poor choice of song selection and really had no great performances these past few weeks so it was time for him to go. I personally don’t think he should have made the top 5. He has an alright voice, but what got him that far was his strong vocals.
