The first thing I noticed tonight were the awesome colors in Randy’s sweater and tie.  Okay, so I’m a little distracted.  Taking James Durbin out of the mix has made American Idol a tad boring.

The three contestants remaining will sing three songs.  The first song is their choice.  The judges say Haley won the first round.  Me?  I have no idea.

So, did you see the coming attraction of next season’s show on FOX Terra Nova?  It looks interesting. Kung Fu Panda 2 looks cute too!  Am I drifting again?  Oops!

The second song was chosen by Jimmy Iovine. Steven Tyler chose Haley as his favorite, while Jennifer and Randy chose Scotty.

The third song is the judges choice of songs.  Once again, Steven chose Haley, but this time Jennifer and Randy chose Lauren Alaina.

So let me see if I have this straight Jennifer and Randy chose each of the contestants as winners in each of the three songs.  The only one who had a real opinion was Steven Tyler who stuck by Haley throughout the whole show. OOPS!  I guess I really wasn’t paying any attention.  A commenter brings it to my attention that Steve Tyler said Lauren Alaina won the second round.  Sorry!

I’m looking forward to your comments as to who will make it to the finals next week.  I don’t really have a favorite.  Bloggergal
