Sorry I’m not a fan of country music, I knew scotty would win, what is the big deal about him? Yikes, I want to mute the sound. James should have won this he was the most deserving.

I have to ask….Was the J-lo/Marc Anthony routine suppose to be real entertainment or was it a spoof???

All in All… a very entertaining show. I’m glad Scotty won over Lauren, as I think he is more Idol material… and you all (or should I say y’all) know we have not heard the last out of this kid. Quite a few will have careers… 1 will be an Idol… 1 will go on to acting… but most will go back to real life. But, I do think that this season’s cast was one of the more talented overall.

Lots of Stars performing… good thing they all have a record or tour to promote… and nothing wrong with that. The contestants did a pretty good job performing with the stars too. I thought they could have done without adding Bono and Lady Gaga and Beyonce’s second number, and just stuck with performances by Stars paired with the contestants. And this list does include Marc Anthony and Steven Tyler (at the risk at committing heresy on this blog), I did enjoy Stevens performance (better that the video a few weeks ago) though, but just think this show should be all about the kids.

Of course… I enjoyed Haley and Tony the most. Jacob was very good, and Casey and Jack Black… excellent. It was fun to see all the girls together and thought they did great. James and Judas Priest was a trip. The duets for Scotty and Lauren where very good, and what a thrill for those two, to perform with Tim and Carrie.

Im glad Scotty won and from the middle of the season, I had a feeling he was going to win. Every week he came out and sang great, his song selection was very good and all the fans just seemed to love him. Lauren Alaina also did a great job, her and Scotty both deserved to win, but beacuse Scotty was so unique and such a fan favorite there was no way he was going to lose. I think this was probably the season with the most talented singers and each unique in there own way. I did also, enjoy Steven Tyler’s performance during the idol finale and he still can sing great.

I enjoyed the show but I was not happy with the winner. As a matter of fact I didn’t like either one of them. Well bloggergal, I guess we have to wait for another season. Now I am counting the days for “BB”. Talk to you soon.

Scotty was by far the most ready to be a star. His voice is tailor-made for country and if he doesn’t make it huge then that will come as a huge shock to me personally. He may become the most successful winner ever. If Steven Tyler doesn’t return then ill be disheartened. I think that he was a good judge. He brought some funny moments to the show and who is more talented than steven tyler? It must be nice taking compliments and criticism from a great singer like steven rather than from someone like Simon who, while he is an icon, is not a great singer. To end I would just love to say that this was a great season of idol and best of luck to all the competitors, they have bright futures ahead of them.

I believe that Scotty was the most talented this season. I disagree with Aggie27, James may have been deserving but he went home the same exact week that Chris Daughtry went home, and Daughtry is the third most successful singer from Americal Idol. The first being Carrie Underwood and the second being Kelly Clarkson. So James Durbin may end being another Chris Daughtry and becoming very successful.

i was happy that scotty won. I thought either scotty or james was going to win but as soon as james got eliminated i new that scotty was going to win.I think that he was the most talented and the best this season

I never liked Scotty, but I’m happy he won over Lauren. His voice is much better than hers. I still belive that Casey should’ve won though. Hopefully Scotty goes on to become successful with his new career.

Scotty didn’t deserve to win. He sounded the same every single time he sang. There was nothing original about him. I am not a fan of Lauren either but she would have been a better choice than Scotty. I knew he was going to win since the beginning but that doesn’t mean he is good.

I was disapointed that James didn’t make it into the final two. I was happy to hear that Scotty won though. He was definitly the most talented after James. Scotty would have impressed me more if he sang more than just country though.

I think Scotty deserved to win. I wish Lauren would have won but im sure she will get something. I think this season was a succses!

I’m so happy that Scotty won American Idol. He was my favorite singer through the whole thing. I didn’t expect a country singer to win it. I thought it would have been someone that is in rock or pop. It also did not seem like a disappointed crowd when his name was announced. I didn’t really like his first single he is coming out with. I would like if he did a rock/country song.

I’m very happy with the judges choice of Scotty winning, he’s been my favorite. He’s extremely talented and I think he’s one of the greatest american-idol winners. Everyone had a lot of talented on the show this season, but Scotty was a great choice of winning. His performing was always so good.

I am so glad Scotty won! He has been my favorite since the beginning. I knew from the first day i heard him sing he would win the contest. I think it is very well deserved, he is very talented. But i do not think Lauren should have been the runner-up. I thought she should have been eliminated a long time ago.

I am glad to see that Scotty won. I would have liked it better if James Durbin won but I am still happy with the results of the finale. I believe that the runner up should not have been Lauren. I believe the runner up should have been Scotty and James should have won.

I think Scotty made a lot little girls happy this week with his winning of American Idol. That smooth southern draw won the hearts of the majority of America and I can honestly say I am one of those hearts. Good for Scotty, he is just getting started and has yet to peak out in the music industry. This blogging experience has been a great time and hopefully I will continue this when I am off to college next year.
