Hi!

Tonight the judges pick the first song that each of three semi-finalists sing.  Danny Gokey’s song is “Dance Little Sister”.  Kris Allen sings “Apologize” and Adam Lambert sings “One”.  The judges are going back and forth, but all seem to be in agreement that Adam should be the next American Idol. 

But will Adam Lambert be the next American Idol?

Things are getting heated…even here on our blog!  Everyone has their favorite and they don’t want to see “him” eliminated.  After the first set of songs, I think Adam is way in the lead, followed by Kris Allen and Danny Gokey on his way out.  I didn’t like the song choices by the judges for either Kris or Danny.  Did the judges make the best choice they could?

Second set of songs are picked by each of the semi-finals.  Danny Gokey picks Joe Cocker’s “You Are So Beautiful”.  It seems that when he sings a song that pertains to his late wife, his emotions feed him and he sings amazing. 

Kris Allen said he didn’t have a difficult choice.  He chose “Heartless”, a Kanye West song.  I know I keep saying the same things week after week, but he’s sooooo cute–LOL.   Oh, and he can sing and perform too!

Did you notice that Adam is last tonight?  Did they choose numbers for who would go first, second or third?  Does that matter?  Do more people vote for the last singer they hear?  Am I being too analytical?  Usually by the time American Idol gets to the the top three you kinda know who the last two standing will be.  Not happening this time, is it?

Singing Aerosmith’s “Crying” is our Adam Lambert.  Simon gives his personal recommendation that America not take it for granted that Adam will be in the final and vote, vote, vote!
