And the American Idol is…(Spoiler…West Coast)
Hi Everybody,
Well, quite a night wasn’t it? Who would have thought that Adam could possibly lose? To tell you the truth, I did. Why? Well, lots of reasons. Not being mainstream enough…not being straight enough…refusing to “mold”…too much publicity too soon, etc., etc. But, thanks to Dr. B., finding this on the KrisAllenNation website kinda sums it up doesn’t it?
UPDATE: 105 people who have reported their votes voted a staggering 436,650 times last night. That’s an average of 4,158 votes per person. Keep reporting your votes and we’ll keep updating.
Now how can that be????? How do 105 people vote 436,650 times for Kris Allen last night? It’s BS—that’s what it is. That means that 105 people cast almost half of ALL the votes last night. Huh?
Gotta agree with Gloria (see Comments) I’m hating American Idol about now.
So on the positive side, Adam won’t be tied hand and foot to a lengthy American Idol contract and he can do his own thing. I’m sure he’s had a few calls by now. Hope you all have a very good evening. I’m going to bed early. Not staying tuned…Bloggergal1

I wrote this a short time ago on my Facebook page.
“Congratulations to Kriss Allen and Adam Lambert for representing the best of America singing talent on American Idol 2009.
Kriss Allen has won American Idol 2009 and I congratulate him most sincerely.
Unfortunately, I believe the biggest winners were the bigots who waged a successful campaign against Adam Lambert simply because he is gay.”
The truth is I didn’t think Adam could win in the land of the free. The posts on AI’s Facebook page this week have been so disappointing. Many gays will forego the program in the future – after all, how many times can you say it will be different this time: it isn’t. I’m very happy that I live north of the border and we’re pretty well done with fighting for our rights.
