Congratulations American Idol Kris Allen

Hi Everyone,

Okay, I’ve calmed down some!  LOL  I want to say I think Kris Allen is a wonderful and talented musician/singer.  I wasn’t upset that Kris Allen won.  The reason I am upset is because I don’t believe the majority of those watching American Idol felt that Kris Allen should win over Adam Lambert.  Remember when Al Gore won the popular vote, but George W. won the election?  I was very upset then too. 

I don’t understand why American Idol doesn’t follow the same voting procedure as Dancing With the Stars.  Wouldn’t it be better if the number of times you could vote was limited? 

I’m going to let everyone’s comment’s speak for themselves.

But, I’d like to take a moment to thank everyone who supported this blog.  I wouldn’t be able to do it without you!  I’ll follow up with a blog after I attend the concert in July.  I hope that all of you who are going to the concert come back here and let us know what you think.

I was more than a little shocked as well. In fact, I thought that the judges had pretty much handed it to Adam on a silver platter. It was a great show. Being the old woman I am, I remember the variety shows and I hope if reality isn’t here to stay that this kind of entertainment is. The only time we get to see stars of the caliber is on award shows. I kind of think the stars much appreciate the exposure as well because we have seen a bunch of them. Oh well…congrats to Chris but Adam YOU BES PRETTY!! Peace!

I agree, Deb, Simon clearly was leaning Adam’s way throughout. Both have secured careers – who knows Adam’s may bounce higher than Kris’s. Not all Idol fianlists stay in the big time..Just look at Ruben Studdard, Clay Aiken.
The people will have the last say… Best wishes to them both

I was really surprised that Adam didn’t win, but know he will have a very successful career and hope that Kris does too. The only comment I have is that I wish the judging could be limited to 1 or 2 calls per phone number or up to the judges completely to make it more fairly done.

Very Very up set that Adam did not win. He is GREAT !!!!! kris is really good ,but Adam PUTS ON A SHOW HE KNOWS HOW TO TURN ON HIS FANS And soooo goodlooking,sexy,sweet hot. HE IS THE CATS MEOW WE LOVE ADAM LAMBERT !!! THE MADDENS FROM LOUISIANA ADAM LAMBERT ROCKS

Congratulations to Kris and BOOOOOOOOOOO for krisallenation.com voting scam over 4,000 times a person using gizmo and vbuzzer. I voted about 100 times for 4 hours. Just doesn’t seem fair. It was the best result show ever! Adam was the best! Thanks bloggergal1 for your help in my class for writing. Looking forward to next season/year!

I think it was a good fight, but I’m glad Kris won, I was on his side for the whole season. Not saying Adam isn’t good, but I still like Kris better

You say you don’t believe that the majority of Americans preferred Kris. It’s simple. You, like many others, were misled. Kris may have been a frontrunner all along but the judges LED you to believe that Adam was the favorite. They gave him the “pimp” spot for many weeks in a row, and sang his praises endlessly, while depimping Kris (less favorable placement and lukewarm comments). But this time the public saw through their manipulation and made their own minds up. I think Adam is remarkably talented, but Kris was my preference. I just love listening to him! I’m sure they’ll both be successful.

hi this is dave granteed from dr. butz class. i just wanted to say that for this whole american idol season of talking about it, watching it and blogging so much that dr. butz is the only teacher that knows how to listen to students and make them understand american idol and make sure we vote for the best person and that too is something we did and thats y kris allen won.

it is obviouse that Adam is over much better than Kris. i think Kris knows it too.thats why he said Adam deserves it at that night. i dont know what America think about. Well Kris sings well,but honestly its normal.LOOK what Adam did!its absolutely no adj.to describe him,after his singing. though i dont like his nails,he do catches the audience. to me, a person who do not enjoy rock pretty much,can tell the difference.i wonder if there’s a inside story thet hollywood really wanna surprise people,then catch the eyeballs….if it changes to another guy v.s Adam will “the another guy “win?

i think kris deserved the spot in american idol because he has an awesome voice.
