The auditions seem to be a little different this year than years past ?  At least what they are showing us.  We are seeing fewer auditions, but what we are seeing is more in depth.  We are getting to know the contestants a little better, they are slightly more human this way I think.  The judges seem a little more silly and relaxed this year as well.  

Anyone else notice anything different this year ?  Likes ?  Dislikes ?

And of course .. the new judge Kara.  I still don’t know how I feel about a fourth judge and I don’t know how I feel about her and her way of doing things.  What do you think ?  Good addition ?  Mistake on the shows part ?  Do you think she’ll be back next year ?  Do you think they’re possibly adding her to have one of the other judges leave next year ?
