Hi,

Yep…it’s true.  I have two American Idol tickets for the finale performances of Adam & Kris at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood.  That should be a good thing right?  Should be…but its not.  You see even though Hollywood is only an hour from my house, on a week day the traffic will put it over two hours.  Also, it’s hot here…really hot.  (100 today I think)  You have to line up and wait to exchange your voucher for a ticket.  They say be in line by 1:00 p.m.  That means most people will be in line by 11:00 a.m.  The show starts at 5:00 p.m.–you do the math! 

It says on the tickets make sure you eat something and drink plenty of water so you don’t dehydrate.  You will be standing in the direct sun with nowhere to sit.  Oh, but don’t forget to dress “upscale” for the cameras.  Have you ever stood out in the sun for hours all dressed up?  It’s not fun.  Did I mention that seats in the theater are not guaranteed–it’s first come, first serve.
