The Best American Idol Final Two Ever!
Welcome to the American Idol finale!
Those in the East and Central time zones are probably busy dialing and dialing for their favorite, but for us on the West coast, we’ve just started watching. The first performance by each of the two finalists is their favorite performance from a past show. Adam Lambert sings “Mad World” and Kris Allen sings “Ain’t No Sunshine”. Simon gives the round to Kris. I think this final contest doesn’t really have to do with who sings better, I think this comes down to who sings your particular type of music.
The second song for each contestant was chosen by the American Idol producer. For Adam Lambert he chose “Change is Gonna Come”. This bluesy number was awesome and showed the more controlled side of Adam, but yet included his classic high notes. Chosen for Kris Allen was “Brother, Brother”. He sang and played guitar and the judges thought it was too mellow for the finale.
The third song is the classic “American Idol feel good, it’ll be on the radio tomorrow” song. This one’s titled “No Boundaries” and was co-written by none other than judge Kara LaGuardia. The other judges don’t want to criticize a fellow judge but I get the feeling they didn’t like that song. I’m not running out to buy it by either artist–that’s for sure!
All that’s left now is the vote counting. See you tomorrow night…stay tuned…Bloggergal1
