Hi!

Tonight’s mentor is Shania Twain and the songs are all hers.  First up is Lee Dewyze.  He sings “Still The One”.  Randy said it started off a little shaky, but he pulled it off.  Ellen liked it.  Kara said he’s come far.  Simon thought it was the perfect song for Lee.

“It Only Hurts When I’m Breathing” is Michael Lynche’s choice tonight.  The judges loved him.

Maybe I’m not in a good mood, but so far I didn’t like either of them!  I have to admit, I’m getting so bored with American Idol.  Oh well, on we go!

Casey James impressed the judges with his Shania Twain song.  Simon even suggested that Casey give her a hug and a kiss.

Crystal Bowersox chooses “No One Needs To Know”.  She says it’s a hint for her boyfriend.  Randy and Ellen said it wasn’t their favorite performance, but it was still good.  Kara said it was believable, whatever that means.  Simon didn’t like her song either.  I think she’s good no matter what she sings.  Her boyfriend is cute!

Aaron Kelly sings “You Got A Way”, a nice, slow Aaron-style love ballad.  Randy says he is American Idol’s country artist this year.  Ellen thinks it’s going to be a tough elimination since everyone is doing great tonight.  Kara thought he did great.  Simon said he’s been struggling but tonight he was right on.  He said it was sincere and well done.

Last tonight is Siobhan Magnus singing “Any Man of Mine”.  Randy loved it.  Ellen thought it was fantastic.  Kara said Siobhan is back.  Simon thought it was good, but thought the final note was a bit much.  Did you notice that she walked all around the stage, but she didn’t dance or move to the music at all?

This will be an interesting week because somebody with talent is going home.  Stay tuned for tomorrow’s elimination…Bloggergal
