Your American Idol Top Three
Slash is my guitar hero! His appearance on American Idol has given it rock credibility. In fact my son happened to be walking by the TV and stopped surprised to see Slash performing with the AI contestants. The opening song “School’s Out” was all Slash. Were there people singing? LOL
So Paula makes an on-stage appearance tonight. Isn’t she a bit old to do a song like that? It was so…well…wrong! Granted she can still dance but her voice was so electronically altered in that song, I wasn’t even sure it was her.
It’s the results show, but still no results. <sigh> No Doubt–woohoo!!! Enough said.
Ryan announces that the top three are not being announced in any particular order. The first of the four to be declared safe is Kris Allen.
Daughtry performs. Do you remember after his season of American Idol, he said he would never appear on the show? Musta changed his mind, huh?
Second announced safe is Adam Lambert. So we’re down to either Allison Areheta or Danny Gokey going home tonight. It should have been Danny going home but nope! Allison is eliminated. Just goes to show you that America definitely votes for their favorites because Danny sure had the worst performance last night didn’t he? Allison proves her worth with her final song. She’s awesome and so talented.
American Idol’s final three will be back next week to battle for the title. They will sing two songs each–one chosen by the judges and one their personal pick. See you then! Stay tuned…Bloggergal1

I was surprised by Allison’s departure but that only means that Danny is still in it. I’m sorry but I do like Danny. But again, I have only picked one winner since the show started ha,ha.
